Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 26, 2026  ·  Last updated: October 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sigalas Insurance Agency (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit elitefarmersagency.com (the “Site”), request a quote, call or text us, or respond to our online ads, including Google lead form ads. By using the Site or submitting your information, you acknowledge the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Sigalas Insurance Agency is an independently owned insurance agency and an authorized agent of Farmers Insurance®, located at 15055 Goldenwest St, Huntington Beach, CA 92647, and licensed in California (CA Insurance License #4396795 · #6017953). We help individuals, families and businesses find insurance coverage through Farmers Insurance and other carriers we are appointed with.

Applications and policies. This policy covers information we collect through the Site, our ads and our marketing. When you apply for or buy a policy, the insurance company that issues it also collects and handles your information under its own privacy notice, as required by federal and state insurance privacy laws (including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and California’s Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act). You will receive that carrier’s notice, and you can find the Farmers Insurance privacy notice at farmers.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you request a quote, schedule a call, contact us, or submit a lead form (on our Site or inside an ad on Google or another platform), we may collect:

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, bank account or payment card information through the Site’s quote form. Please don’t include that kind of information in form notes; we will collect it securely if and when it is needed to complete an application.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including:

Information about phone calls

When you call a phone number shown on the Site or in our ads, Google’s call-tracking service may display a forwarding number and record call details such as the caller’s area code, call start and end time, and call duration, so we can tell which ads lead to calls. We do not use this service to record the content of calls.

Information from other sources

If you submit a lead form inside an ad (for example, a Google lead form ad), the ad platform passes us the information you entered. We may also receive information from Farmers Insurance and the carriers we work with as part of quoting and servicing your coverage.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent, trade or give away your contact details to other agencies, lead resellers or marketers.

We share personal information only as described below:

5. Cookies, analytics & advertising

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies (small files or code stored in your browser) from Google to help the Site work, understand how visitors use it, and measure the results of our advertising.

ToolWhat it does
Google Analytics Collects usage statistics, such as pages viewed, time on site and the device used, so we can improve the Site. Learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Google Ads conversion tracking Tells us when someone who clicked one of our ads requests a quote or calls us, so we can see which ads work and stop paying for the ones that don’t.
Enhanced conversions When you submit a quote request, your email address and phone number may be converted into a one-way, encrypted code (“hashed”) in your browser before it’s sent to Google. Google uses that code only to match the request to an ad click for measurement; it does not receive your email or phone number in readable form from this process.
Google call tracking Shows a forwarding phone number and reports call details (not call content) so we can measure calls from ads. See Section 2.

We may also show ads to people who have previously visited the Site (“remarketing”) on Google’s network. These ads are based on your past visits to our Site, not on the contents of your quote request.

Your choices about cookies and ads

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

There is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, so the Site does not change its behavior when it receives one. We do treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a valid request to opt out of any sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising, as described in Section 9.

6. Calls, texts & emails

When you submit a quote request or lead form, you are asking us to contact you about insurance. We may reach you by phone, text message or email at the contact details you provide, including to follow up on your request.

Even after you opt out of marketing, we may still contact you about an active quote, application, policy or claim you have with us. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.

7. Retention & security

Retention. We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to your request, service your coverage, keep business records, and meet the record-keeping requirements that apply to licensed insurance agencies. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Security. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections for the Site and form submissions, access controls on our systems, and service providers that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

8. Your choices & rights

No matter where you live, you can:

To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 13. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request, for example by verifying the phone number or email address you used with us. Some information may need to be kept to complete a transaction you requested, meet legal or insurance record-keeping obligations, or prevent fraud; if so, we’ll tell you.

9. California privacy rights

We are based in California and primarily serve California residents. If you are a California resident, you have the following rights to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”), and other California laws apply to us:

Categories of personal information

In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information through the Site and our ads: identifiers (such as name, phone, email, IP address and ad click IDs); customer records (contact and quote details); commercial information (coverage interests and current insurance status); internet or network activity (pages viewed and interactions with the Site and ads); and approximate geolocation (ZIP code and IP-based location). We collect these from you, from your device, and from ad platforms, for the purposes described in Section 3, and disclose them to the categories of recipients described in Section 4.

Making a request

You or an authorized agent may submit a request by calling 714-248-9913 or emailing [email protected]. If an authorized agent submits a request for you, we may ask for proof that you gave them permission. We will respond within the time required by law, generally 45 days.

Shine the Light

California Civil Code § 1798.83 allows California residents to ask about personal information disclosed to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.

10. Residents of other states

Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights similar to those described above, including the rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to appeal our decision on your request. We will honor these requests as required by your state’s law. To make a request or appeal a decision, contact us using the details in Section 13. If we deny your appeal, you may contact your state attorney general.

11. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through the Site. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. If we make material changes, we will provide more prominent notice, such as a notice on our homepage. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
